Engineering and Computer Science Transfer Scholarship Program

 

Application Process

Students enrolled in the Associate of Science Engineering University Transfer (EUT) Program, the Associate of Applied Science in Computer Information Systems (CIS)/Software Development Program, the Associate of Applied Science in Computer Information Systems (CIS) or the Associate of Science in Liberal Arts at Sinclair Community College may apply for this scholarship. Students must receive their associate’s degree in Fall 2012 or after to be eligible for this scholarship.

To be eligible for the scholarship at Wright State University, students must:

  • Complete an Associate's Degree in the Engineering University Transfer (EUT) Program, the Computer Information Systems (CIS)/Software Development Program, the Computer Information Systems (CIS) Program, the Associate of Science in Liberal Arts, or the Associate of Technical Studies (Computer Information Systems) at Sinclair Community College with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.
    • Note: Students graduating with either the Associate of Science in Liberal Arts or Associate of Technical Studies (Computer Information Systems) must be pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science at Wright State University.
  • Apply and be accepted to Wright State. It is recommended to apply at www.wright.edu/undergraduate-admissions/apply at least 3 months prior to the start of the term.
  • Submit your final Sinclair Community College transcripts.
  • Complete the online scholarship application at: www.cecs.wright.edu/sinclairscholarship

Scholarship recipients must:

  • Maintain full-time status, which is at least 12 credit hours, at Wright State University to receive $3,000 per academic year for a maximum of four terms. OR, enroll part-time, which is 6-11 credit hours, at Wright State University to receive $1,500 per academic year for a maximum of eight terms.
  • Maintain a qualifying cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 in an engineering or computer science major at Wright State University.
